Expires on inactivity

Choice Privileges points expire after 18 months of no qualifying activity.

  • Earn points for paid stays at Choice Hotels
  • Redeem points for stays
  • Buy Choice Privileges points
  • Transfer points from Amex MR or other partners
Exceptions
  • Elite members (Gold, Platinum, Diamond) are fully exempt starting 2026
