Etihad Guest expiration rules
Expires on inactivity
Etihad Guest miles expire after 18 months. Only flight activity qualifies, one of the strictest policies.
What counts as activity
- • Fly on Etihad-operated flights
- • Fly on partner airline flights
What does NOT count as activity
- • Transferring points no longer resets validity (since June 2024)
- • Purchasing miles no longer resets validity (since June 2024)
Exceptions
- • Platinum and Diamond tier members' miles never expire
